The Case of the Missing Mandy...

So everybody I have showed this blog to had one complaint....Where is Mandy?  Now...granted...most of the time she is behind the camera (a location she guards jealously) but we really DO have a few pictures of the lovely leading lady in My life.   So....I have decided to put some pics up that include her...and hope she doesn't sign in tonight and delete them!

This was the other picture made at the awards banquet...Mandy with the whole gang!

And here is Mandy when she came up to GA to meet my family

And here is Mandy and Me...

So there...some pics of her...and I realized how few pics I really do have of her since she always insists on being the one behind the camera...I guess I will have to rectify that in the future...

Our First Weekend Together-All of us!

Our first weekend all together. On Friday night we all went to Abby's annual swim team banquet held at Old Fort Baptist Church. We enjoyed a terrific covered dish dinner followed by an awards ceremony where Abby was awarded her trophy and a special metal from her coaches for being "Most Dedicated".

Poor 'ol Zach was absolutely tuckered out afterwards! He curled up with "Who-Yo" and just about fell asleep:
On Saturday we went to Nana's house for some fun time in the pool and a hot dog supper with homemade chili and coleslaw. We were delayed a bit by some thunderstorms, but we waited them out and were able to play for awhile after we all ate.

Julio was quite sore the next day, as he spent most of the time in the pool throwing each of the kids. Those 11 and 12 year olds can be quite heavy, even in the pool! But oh the giggles and smiles we enjoyed. It was positively delightful.

Molly even got in on the photo taking, I think she caught Julio by surprise with this one:

We will update Sunday's activities a little later on. But it was a pretty relaxing day. The kids and I just hung out while Julio and Abby went to Day 1 of her City Meet swim competition.

But I will leave you with my 2nd favorite picture of the weekend (the first being the one of all the kids above). I think the smile and look of contentment on Julio's face just about says it all:
